Company Profile

Since the late 1960’s Flox Wines & Spirits Pty. Ltd. has been importing quality wines and spirits. It was then known as Flox Industries Pty. Ltd. With progressive market trends, ‘Flox Industries’ was personalised to Flox Wines & Spirits Pty Ltd. The identity of Flox remained the same, although a direct name association within the Industry was established.

Founder & Director - Mr Harry Tashounidis

The Directors of Flox Mr. Harry Tashounidis and Mrs. Marcelle Tashounidis have remained with the company since the company’s inception. This highlights the company’s consistency, performance and strength within a tight niche market.

Today, Flox Wines & Spirits Pty. Ltd. proudly imports, exports, produces and distributes over 180 local and internationally respected beverages. Fine beverages are imported from Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro, Spain, Turkey and from the United Kingdom to name a few.

The speciality of this portfolio has established our products within Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest liquor accounts. Our regular participation within Australia’s Fine Wine, Spirits and food Exhibitions has further impressed our products upon the broader consumer market.

General Manager - Mr Jim Pilakis

In July 2001 Jim Pilakis was appointed General Manager of Flox Wines & Spirits Pty. Ltd.

Jim has been involved in Sales Management and Marketing since 1978. Jim has represented companies such as GJ Coles, Coca Cola Bottlers, Lindermans Wines, Leo Burings and Normans Wines. His enthusiasm, vision and passion is further buoyed, as he is related to the directors, Harry & Marcelle Tashounidis. "My objective is to make this an exciting and dynamic family company and I look forward to further developing the company’s portfolio, more so to an international selection."

National Marketing Manager - Mr Lukas Papargiris

Lukas has rejoined our company as National Marketing Manager. Lukas studied at the David Syme Department of Marketing at Monash University and at Mayfield Education for Health. He has consulted in private enterprise and has prior experience within the wholesale liquor industry, in the private and public health care sector. Lukas maintains a personal and close association with the company and is related to the directors. "I embrace the company’s dynamic vision. My objective is to ensure that the company’s profile and portfolio inexorably remain in the forefront of the market".
