BACKGROUND
Croix Valong La Légende is a high-end cuvée rooted in one of the most historic vineyard zones of the Rhône Valley. The parcels used for this wine trace their origins back to vineyards once reserved for the Popes of Avignon between the 14th and 15th centuries. Selected for their superior soils and exposure, these sites form part of the Valong valley. The name “Croix Valong” references both the papal stone crosses marking the land and the valley itself, honouring the legacy of careful site selection and viticultural precision.
