It continues to grow wild in the North of Norway.  The flower & root are handpicked along the seaside. The Arctic Sea gives the gin its flavor and contributes to a raw taste and smell. This new member of the multi awarded family operated Kimerud distillery is a tribute to Jørgen Kristian Has Nilsen, grandfather of the master distiller. Reserve Des Armoiries Rouge is a red French wine from AOP Cotes du Rhone. The vineyards selected to produce this wine extend over 225 hectares.  Five grape varieties, Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah are required to obtain perfect balance. Intense red colour, fruity nose with notes of spices. Smooth and very supple mouth with nice spicy flavours. Match with white meats, vegetable pie and mild cheeses.

The 2014 Rapsani Grande Reserve 750ml is a traditional blend of three indigenous varieties -Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto. The grapes are hand picked from high altitude parcels nestled in Mount Olympus.  The wine is matured at least 18 months in oak and aged at least 18 months in the bottle. Deep red color with tawny hues. The nose is dominated by vegetal and earthy aromas with ripe black fruit and vanilla on the background. The palate is dry, rich in robust tannins with acidity that balances the ripe fruit and the sweet spices. The oak is well integrated. Long and complex finish. Rapsani Grande Reserve  is a wine with great ageing potential evolving the depth of its character. Enjoy with dark meat and game, roasts, spicy and thick creamy dishes and matured cheese.
